GGAT Projects are able to undertake a wide-range of archaeological work from preliminary appraisals to publication and dissemination.

GGAT Projects have developed manuals of best practice for the various types of work, in particular a Manual of Excavation Recording Techniques and Guidelines for the Execution of Assessment Projects. The latter document not only sets out the requirements for undertaking and reporting assessment projects (including field evaluations), but also references the underlying hierarchy of pro-formas required to ensure that tracking and auditing functions can be effectively fulfilled.

GGAT Projects can offer technical services either as part of projects or individually, at reasonable rates, and working to agreed deadlines. Where the Trust cannot directly provide the necessary service it can call upon its established network of specialist archaeological finds, archaeotechnical and palaeoenvironmental sub-contractors. In addition, GGAT Projects can call on advice from a wide range of sources to ensure that, whatever the problem, a professional approach is maintained. GGAT Projects is therefore able to offer a comprehensive archaeological service to clients.
