Heritage Management

Heritage advice to individuals and local groups

There is a growing awareness today for the need to preserve and maintain the cultural heritage for future generations. The Heritage Management division is always pleased to offer information, whether it is for identification or conservation.

If the request is for the identification of a monument we will usually ask you to send in photographs - sometimes this is all that it necessary for us to make an identification, though with more unusual or complicated sites we will probably need to make a site visit.

As regards conservation, we can advise on the sort of things you will need to consider if you are thinking of restoring a monument. However, the Heritage Management division regret that they cannot draw up a scheme of works or provide costings for such ventures.
