Festival of British Archaeology

The Festival of British Archaeology is a nation-wide event sponsered by the CBA that is held annually every June and July. GGAT have held an Open Day event as part of the festival since 2002. Since 2004 it has taken place in collaboration with Swansea Museum.

As well as exhibitions on the Trust's work, and the opportunity to consult the Historic Environment Record, we play host to many other archaeological and heritage organisations from all over the South East Wales area. Re-enactment groups and activities for children help to make this a memorable day for all members of the family.

Below are just a few of the photographs from the numerous Open Day events we have held.
