The National Eisteddfod
With the encouragement of Cadw, the Welsh Archaeological Trusts have over the past few years begun to put in appearance at the National Eisteddfod. So far, we have only attended the ones which have taken place within our area, the Newport Eisteddfod in 2004 and the Swansea Eisteddfod in 2006.
At the Swansea Eisteddfod, which took place at Felindre only a few miles from our boundary, we collaborated with Cambria Archaeology to provide information on the historic environment across the whole of South and West Wales.
