Site Visits
One of the ways in which we learn about new sites is through information provided by members of the public. They are the people who see changes in the landscape around them (or even just their gardens), which may reveal a site that has been lost for centuries. Or maybe they have always known about a site's existence but would like to find out more about it, or they want to report that it is being damaged.
If you think you know of something interesting and historic, you can contact us. We can then let you know if it is already on the Historic Environment Record, and if so, we can give you what information we have. If not, it is helpful if you can send us photographs, which may enable us to give you more information.
